
Dr Paul Kymissis studied Medicine at the University of Athens. He was trained as a Neurologist and Psychiatrist in Greece. Then he was trained in Adult and Child Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
He is Board certified in Adult and Child Psychiatry by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
He is past President of the World Hellenic Biomedical Association and honorary President of the Cyprus Psychiatric Association. He is currently the Chief Psychiatry of Children’s Village in New York. He is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at New York Medical College. He is a Professor at the University of Nicosia and Dean for the St. George’s University of London Medical Programme delivered in Cyprus by the University of Nicosia. He is author of about 60 publications.
