Dr Sr Pansemni Aristi Aristodemou width=Born in Cyprus in 1965, and having received education in both Cyprus and UK, qualified BSc, MBBS, MRCP (UK) in 1992; worked in general medical teaching hospital jobs in London, and after a year sabbatical in Paris for French language and Theological studies, returned to work at St Joseph’s Hospice in East End, London before departing for the monastery of Annunciation of Theotokos in N. Greece, where as a nun, she served the 120-sister community as their general practitioner.

After undertaking an MSc in Palliative Care at King’s College London, from the monastery, moved to Cyprus in Autumn 2015 in order to serve the dying and those close to them, and firstly worked with a community palliative care team in Nicosia, offering home care to cancer patients at the end-of-life, entering into close collaboration with compassionate care team at the Nicosia General Hospital Intensive Care Unit, and is undertaking her doctoral thesis as TEPAK student in this field.
