Samantha Taouk has a track record in the management of complex programs involving data analysis in health service delivery.
She acted as the cross-agency Communications officer for the delivery of COVID-19 analytics which guided NSW’s pandemic response.
With a Masters in International Public Health, Samantha is particularly skilled at transforming scientific findings and data science results into policy-informing insights.
In 2021-2022, Samantha served as the insights disseminator and visualiser within the NSW Health central data team, which supported the statewide NSW Integrated Care programme. Her work involved coordinating across all Local Health Districts and synthesising analytics information packages to help them evaluate the performance of their respective programs and pull out critical insights from the data science work.
Samantha is experienced at submitting ethics applications for a broad range of project purposes including data linkages.
In 2023 she acted as business engagement lead for a metropolitan district in NSW, capturing the data requirements of the district to help bring its strategy to life.
Her key focus areas revolve around operations, business strategy and insights communication.
