
Dr Constantinos (Costas) Paschalides, MBChB (Medicine Degree, University of Manchester), MSc (Gerontology, King’s College London), DRCOG, DGM (Diploma in Geriatric Medicine, Royal College of Physicians), CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training – Cambridge GP Vocational Training Scheme), MRCGP, is a Faculty Member of the MSc in Family Medicine at the University of Nicosia Medical School. He is currently a GP Principal, in Colchester, Essex, UK and is the Safeguarding Lead and the Research Lead for his practice. In 2013 he received a Research Award for contribution to primary care research. He has trained and worked as a GP Undergraduate Tutor, teaching St Bartholomew’s (Barts) Medical Students coming from London for GP Placements at his practice. Having qualified as a doctor from Manchester, he had ample experience in teaching, as he did all his house jobs in a Manchester Teaching Hospital, and all his GP Training/ Junior doctor years at Addenbrooke’s, the Cambridge University’s Teaching Hospital.
He has published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the BMJ and the Lancet. He has published a book based on his work with Professor KT Khaw in Cambridge on EPIC data.
