
Philippos Demetriou received his BSc (Honours) in Biochemistry from Imperial College London. He worked as a research assistant at the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Center, University of Athens with Prof. Nikolaos Papadopoulos before moving back to UK for a MSc in Integrated Immunology at the University of Oxford. He finally obtained his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Medicine with a focus in Immunology (autoimmune diseases and cancer) from the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, University of Oxford (Kennedy Trust 4- year PhD scholarship). He is now pursuing his post-doctoral career. He is interested in finding new ways to regulate the immune system in diseases such as autoimmunity and cancer.
